M.E. Silverman
Two Versions of Fall

Translucent blossoms
release green,
drift by the breeze—
fall along my path.

Ready to fall,
I ruin the last
leaf's moment
by writing these words.
M.E. Silverman  has recently moved from New Orleans to middle Georgia,
where he spends a great deal of time being a Dad, a husband, a writer, and a
reader. He is currently completing a manuscript called Mud Angels.  His
poetry has appeared in
Mississippi Crow, Nexus, Grasslimbs, and The
Houston Literary Review.
